Someone asked me the other day, “Marshall, how do I know if I’m a good candidate for coaching?”
That’s a great question.
One thing is for certain, and that’s every shop in the decorated apparel industry is different. Different customers, different employees, different geography, different equipment, different problems.
There is not a one-size-fits-all solution.
Therefore, I have created a simple 50 Point Self-Assessment to measure your business. There are ten sections, and five questions in each one. That’s fifty different measurable ideas on how your shop runs.
For each question, you simply rate your answer from 0 (the worst) to 10 (the best). The survey will automatically total up your points. Out of an available 500 points, I’d say anyone below 350 probably needs some help.
Review These Points For Your Shop
You’ll have to take the assessment to see the questions, but here are the sections that you’ll be reviewing:
- Vision
- Data
- People
- Process
- Training
- Planning
- Issues
- Quality
- Safety
- Continuous Improvement
Did You Ever Play Sports?
If you did, surely you had a coach? Someone, to suggest a better way of doing something and pointing you in the right direction?
That’s what I do. I help incredibly busy shop owners just like you.
Do yourself a favor and spend five minutes on this assessment. Discover where you are on your journey, and let’s see if we can map out some greater success for you.
Just be honest with your assessment for the best results.
